CONFIGURING YOUR EMAIL ON IPHONE & IPAD (BEFORE IOS 14)

Configuration of your email under an iPhone.

  1. Go to "Settings at Mail, Contacts, Calendars at Add an account ..."
  2. Choose "Other"
  3. Choose "Add an Mail account"
  4. Fill in these fields
    1. Name: Your Name
    2. Address: Your email address
    3. Password: The password for your email address
    4. Description: Your choice
  5. At the top right, tap "Next"
  6. Choose the type of account: "POP"
  7. In the "Reception server" section, fill in these fields
    1. Hostname: pop.yourdomainname.xxx
    2. Username: Your email address
    3. Password: The password for your email address
  8. In the "Sending server" section, complete these fields
    1. Hostname: smtp.yourdomainname.xxx
    2. Username: Your email address
    3. Password: The password for your email address
  9. At the top right, press "Save"
  10. To the question, "Cannot connect with SSL: Do you want to try to configure the account without SSL", press "NO"
  11. At the top right, press "Save" again
  12. A window with this message "This account may not be able to send or receive messages", press "Save"
  13. Tap on your created account
  14. Go to "Advanced"
    1. Clear: After one month
    2. Use SSL: NO
    3. "Password" authentication
    4. Remove from server "seven days"
    5. Server port "110"
  15. At the top right, tap "Account info"
  16. Tap SMTP in the send section
  17. Press "smtp.yourdomainname.xxx"
    1. Hostname: smtp.yourdomainname.xxx
    2. Username: Your email address
    3. Password: The password for your email address
    4. Use SSL: NO
    5. Authentication: Password
    6. Server Port: 366
  18. Press "Finish"
